"Before my unit's deployment to Iraq in 2008, my younger Marines had an opportunity to obtain roughly 8 hours of training from Mr. Garvanne - the result was a unit that was very effective with communicating to local populace. As such; we gained their trust and ultimately tips on where the enemy was throughout our AO. I view Kelvin's classes on culture and language a vital piece to the training continuum which was a force multiplier for my unit".
